Thursday, December 8 is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, patroness of the United States and of our parish. We will observe this holy day with a three day celebration called a Triduum. Please join us for Tuesday evening Mass at 6:15 p.m. followed by the Parish Penance Service at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, we welcome Sr. Maria Ecclesiae of the Daughters of Holy Mary of the Heart of Jesus. She will speak about the Immaculate Conception of Mary, followed by the rosary. The order of sisters has established their convent in the former St. Therese Retreat Center. They are currently refurbishing their chapel and there will be a freewill offering that evening to support their efforts.
Thursday is a Holy Day of Obligation. Join us for Mass at 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., or 7 p.m. During these three days, parishioners will have the opportunity to place their prayer intentions in a prayer bowl in the sanctuary in front of the Immaculate Conception statue.
