I came to Columbus on a 5 week production contract in 1981, which the Lord motivated to begin the richest blessings in my life. Finding a vibrant faith community at St. Francis Parish, I stayed in Columbus and enjoyed years serving with Fr. Ed Healey in his Catholic television ministry and healing masses throughout Ohio until his retirement. Most significant, I met Cheryl, my business flourished, and we were married in 1987. Finding a home in Clintonville, the Lord placed us within IC Parish where our faith and family life has resided for 34 years. Along with a Catholic education for our children, IC has given us decades of rewarding memories (especially shared experiences with fellow parents and youth), meaningful ministry, fellowship, and life-long, cherished friends.
Cheryl remains the point person for the homeless ministry, and is constantly engaged in many ministry initiatives. Realizing her schedule is full (and that my bad legs had ended my tenure coaching baseball), the Lord placed this service squarely in my path. I welcome the opportunity to contribute at parish council; to discern and engage initiatives that will renew and enrich greater participation in our parish, our shared Faith, and ultimately our daily awareness and relationship with Jesus Christ.
