I have been a part of the Immaculate Conception community for the past 20 years and have a granddaughter Maleah in my care who will be a seventh grader at Immaculate Conception School this fall. I have 30 years of experience leading non-profit support groups teaching class dealing with the stages of grief and rebuilding life after loss. As a board member of the Catholic Laywomen’s Retreat League, I was involved in organizing spiritual retreats and days of reflection for spiritual growth of women. My parents taught me through example that in order for a church community to grow and thrive we have a responsibility as its members to be active and engaged. Being involved provides a sense of belonging, enriches our faith and challenges us recognize the needs of all of the community’s members. I am honored to be a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish Council and I look forward to contributing to our mission.
