Seminarian Jacob Stinnett, a son of the parish, has received his Call to Orders from Bishop Robert Brennan and will be ordained a transitional deacon in the coming months. The original date of ordination, Friday, May 1, has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and state regulations prohibiting large gatherings of people. Instead, his ordination will take place sometime in June, when the Diocese of Columbus and Immaculate Conception Parish can host a celebration. A date in June and location are still forthcoming and will be published in the bulletin once they have been determined by Bishop Brennan. All members of the parish are invited to come. Please keep Jacob in your prayers as he approaches the final months of preparation for the transitional diaconate.
