Mary Ann Rivera is joining the Immaculate Conception Parish Staff and will be heading Faith Formation and Evangelization. She has been a member of IC for 25 years. She and Angel, her husband, have six children, and they were all blessed to attend IC School. Her daughter is entering into the 8th grade this fall.
Mary Ann is bilingual in Spanish, as her parents are Argentine, and she lived in Central and South America when she was younger.
She has a son who is an upcoming junior at St. Charles, one who will be attending Columbus State, and another at Ohio State. Her two oldest boys have been missionaries at Damascus Catholic Mission Campus, home of Catholic Youth Summer Camp.
Mary Ann has been involved with many of the ministries at Immaculate Conception: VBS, Children’s Liturgy, Alpha, Walking with Purpose, and she has taught the Confirmation Class for the PSR (Parish School of Religion) for 25 years.
She is excited to bring her passion to IC, that “to be on mission as Catholics we are called to show others an encounter with Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, and the knowledge of the Father’s love for each of us.”
